1. Operator and acceptance
Carpal on carpal.kg and in the mobile app is operated by CARPAL KG LLC. By creating an account, listing a vehicle, or confirming a booking, you accept the applicable version of these Terms. Carpal records the document version and material booking terms.
2. Platform role
Carpal provides search, verification, listing, booking, messaging, calendar, evidence, and support tools. Unless a booking screen expressly states otherwise, Carpal is not the lessor, renter, insurer, or a party to the rental agreement, which is made directly between the host or fleet and the renter.
3. Account and eligibility
You must provide accurate information, secure your account, and report unauthorized use. A renter must hold a valid licence and satisfy legal and host requirements for age, experience, and licence category. Carpal may verify identity and documents.
4. Listings and bookings
Hosts confirm their right to offer a roadworthy vehicle with valid documents and accurate listing information. A booking exists after confirmation in the interface. The parties must report changes promptly and follow the separate cancellation policy.
5. Payments and deposit
Unless the interface expressly offers a Carpal payment flow, Carpal does not receive, hold, or refund rent or deposits. Do not send advance payment outside an authorized flow. Direct payments must be documented by the parties.
6. Handover, return, and incidents
At handover and return, the parties should record photos, damage, mileage, fuel, accessories, and signatures. In an accident, theft, damage, or danger, contact emergency services first, then the other party and Carpal.
7. Prohibited conduct
Fraud, forged documents, discrimination, threats, illegal content, circumvention of safeguards, account transfers, service interference, unauthorized data collection, and illegal vehicle use are prohibited. Carpal may remove content or restrict accounts for safety and compliance.
8. Content and intellectual property
You retain rights in your content and grant Carpal a non-exclusive licence to host, process, adapt, and display it as needed to operate, secure, and promote the platform. Carpal software, design, and materials may not be copied or scraped without permission.
9. Liability
Each party remains responsible for its data, vehicle, conduct, payments, penalties, and rental obligations. Carpal does not eliminate risk or replace inspection and insurance. Any limitation of Carpal liability applies only to the extent permitted by Kyrgyz law.
10. Changes, termination, and disputes
A new version date is published when these Terms change, with notice of material changes. The recorded version normally continues to govern a confirmed booking. Contact support@carpal.kg or legal@carpal.kg. Kyrgyz Republic law applies and mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
