1. Right to list
The host must verify identity, ownership or another valid right to rent the vehicle, and all required permissions. Documents must be refreshed when requested.
2. Vehicle condition
A listed vehicle must be legally roadworthy, safe, properly equipped, documented, and insured as required. An unsafe vehicle must never be handed over.
3. Listing accuracy
Photos, specifications, location, availability, price, deposit, mileage limits, and restrictions must remain accurate. Hidden mandatory charges are prohibited.
4. Booking conduct
Maintain the calendar, respond promptly, and avoid cancelling confirmed trips without good reason. Driver checks must use lawful, consistent criteria.
5. Handover and return
Verify the renter and licence, complete the agreement and condition record, explain the vehicle, and transfer only agreed keys and documents. Record the return and deposit settlement.
6. Renter data
Use renter data only for the booking, safety, and legal compliance. Do not unnecessarily copy or publish documents or use contacts for unsolicited marketing.
7. Enforcement
Carpal may require reverification, hide a listing, or restrict bookings or an account following safety issues, complaints, inaccurate data, or policy violations.
